Duraston coating – properties:
monolithic thin-layer decorative coating with a thickness of just over 20 mm (two layers of 12 millimeters each) that bonds perfectly to an adequate concrete surface; minimal absorption of organic substances and oils; pH neutral and environmentally friendly product; non-slip surface; long durability; above-average mechanical resistance; high resistance to wear and abrasion plus salts. Practical application by skim coating onto a healthy concrete surface previously prepared with a high-pressure washer. It is easy to integrate it into visually striking and attractive combinations with other building materials. An undemanding surface that is simple and easy to maintain. Adapted to the personal wishes and needs of customers, Duraston in our offer comes in several granulation and color variants.
Duraston coating – composition:
in principle, cement mortar, a mixture composed of precisely calculated percentages of water, a combination of white Portland cement with quartz sand and/or gravel river aggregates. A compound that is enriched with special additives and supplementary components such as acrylics, polymers, glass fibers, superplasticizers, stone flour, binding agents and protective impregnation.
Duraston coating – technical characteristics:
capillary absorption W=0.02 kg/m2h-1/2; anti-slip R12 / SRT≥65.9; chloride content 0.08%.
After a period of 28 days: tensile strength in bending 8.3 N/mm2; tensile strength of adhesion 1.6 N/mm2; compressive strength 60 N/mm2.
